I've actually known about this for quite some time, but I was just never able to get good pictures of it until now.

To set this up, I should to mention that in December 09, Disneyland finally re-opened the classic "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" attraction, sporting new technology and a newly re-done exit hall area. In the exit hall of the attraction they have several framed pictures of many influential Americans. There are different categories or "spirits" that they fit into.

One of the categories is "The Spirit of Imagination" and features that famous picture of Jim Henson with the Muppets. Along with Jim Henson, there are also pictures of Mark Twain, Lucille Ball, George Lucas, Norman Rockwell, and Disney Imagineering legend Mary Blair.

Here are some pictures that I took;

Those are some great images. It just goes to show that Jim and his creations belong to everyone and not Disney. Fortunately though, Disney now realizes that very well.

BLASPHEMY! BLASPHEMY!

Send him to meet his fate at The Hall of the Immortal Ones! They shall pass judgement (not the FINAL judgement, though) upon him!

May frog have mercy on his soul. :scary:

Oh, never mind. Disneyland. I'm in the East, not West. I thought you were talking about that thing with the animatronic presidents. :frown:

I'm sorry to bump this back up, but today I was looking through Muppet Wiki and realized that the info about Jim Henson's picture in the exit hall has been added to the Disneyland section.

So, thanks to whoever it was that added it to the Wiki. :smile:

When I started reading about an acknowledgement to Jim Henson
and that it was in the Abe lincoln exhibit, the first thing that came into my mind were the lifelike robots and I thought they had done one of Jim.So, wouldnt it be great if they did make one of him, so Fans can meet a "realistic" Jim Henson!
