Part 3

Elmo's group entered Henson Academy as if it was a regular school day, but it was far from that. They planned to take over the school. They had to split up to sneak into the currently empty principal's office and make sure there was no escape. About half the school had already left because of the half day, but there were still a few teachers and students left. They locked all the doors as Elmo spoke on the intercom, "Attention everybody: Due to the acts of a certain Muppet, Elmo must receive one million dollars from the cast of The Muppet Show before any of you can be free.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back at the Muppet Theater, the other Muppets were wondering where the others were when they came across another note:
This is it. Hand over $1 million dollars and a new rubber ducky, or you'll never see your friends again.
"We must stand up for our rights," Scooter, one of the few remaining Muppets, proclaimed.
"Moi am not going to let them take Kermie without a fight," Miss Piggy spoke up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Meanwhile, at Henson Academy, the other Muppets were trying to find a way to beat their boredom. "Gobo, like, do you have any twos?" Janice asked the fraggle sitting in a desk next to her.

"How much longer?" a young whatnot boy asked.

"Let's face it; we'll be stuck here forever," another whatnot replied.

"I know the other Muppets won't let that happen," Robin spoke up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was it, the big face-off. It was Sesame Street versus The Muppet Show. "Stand back or the chicken will be turned into drumsticks!" Elmo threatened.
"Camilla!" Gonzo shrieked as he leaped to rescue his beloved chicken. After that, everything happened so fast. There were many karate chops and penguin cannons, and it was so much that even with his army of evil clones, Elmo just couldn't defeat them and had to surrender.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I told you this was a bad idea," Waldorf said to Elmo as the group was being handcuffed by cops.

"This may not have worked now, but someday Elmo will be the emperor of the universe!" the red monster spoke up as he was being loaded into the back of the police vehicle.

The End...
or is it? *Evil Laughter*
Okay, yes this is is the end...
for now. *more evil laughter*

Please do not have Statler and Waldorf as Elmo's cohorts! They do not work as evil characters. Also, have you seen The Revenge of Elmo by theprawncracker? It has a very similar plot.:shifty:

*blink* Oh dear... I was trying to forget that this story ever existed... :stick_out_tongue: But thanks for posting it, StG (see what I did there? :wink:), glad someone pointed it out.

Anyway... I haven't really read this story--sorry about that--but I would just like to impart a little knowledge I discovered whilst writing my Revenge of Elmo story. I'm not trying to push anything on you guys as writers, just trying to impart a little five-year-old fan-fic writer wisdom. I discovered that none of the Muppet characters are "evil." None of them. Deep down, they're all good. Even Jim Henson was quoted as saying, "Deep down, even our villains are good." Or something to that extent.

No matter how hard you try, you can't force a Henson character to be evil (except, perhaps, the Skeksis, but I'm strictly talking Muppets)--while still staying in character, that is. Forcing Muppets to be evil pushes them out of character completely. That's why I'm not a big fan of my own story, and why the ending changed dramatically from what it was intended. I made Elmo good and made him have a conscience and end up saving the day at the end. This is because he can't be evil. He's a Muppet. Muppets are NOT evil. They're probably the purest form of good there is. Yes, even Statler and Waldorf and Oscar the Grouch are good and loving. Why do you think Statler and Waldorf stick around the The Muppet Show show after terrible show? Why does Oscar stay on Sesame Street even though he "hates" it? Because they're good, loving characters who, deep down, really do love their Muppet family.

I'm not trying to say I condone this story at all, but I just wonder... How do you think Kevin Clash would feel if he read this? How do you think he would feel after reading my story? Probably not good, since we basically ruin the character of his character by making them evil. I know this is meant to be funny, but that's just something to think about.

Anyway... that post turned out much longer than expected and I'm really not trying to knock you guys down or anything, as I strongly support new fan-fic writers, but I just thought I'd let you know why Muppets aren't evil and throw around a little of my old fogie wisdom. :sleep:
