I remember ZootyCutie doing this once, so I decided to try it out. By the way, I'm not trying to make it rhyme, and some of the lyrics might not fit too well and some lyrics are identical to the original. This was just something I'm doing for fun. (and yes, I'm aware the Jonas Brothers weren't popular at the same time as The Muppet Show)
(to the tune of "Sk8er Boi")
He was a boy,
She was a girl.
Can I make it any more obvious?
He's a Muppet,
She's not a fan.
What more can I say?
He wanted her,
She'd never tell
The secret that she wanted him as well.
But all of her friends
Stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his wildness.
He was a drummer boy,
She said "See you later, boy"
She thought she was too good for him
She had a pretty face
But her head was up in space
She needed to come back down to earth
5 years from now
She's still at home
Listening to JB
She's all alone.
She turns on TV
Guess who she sees
Animal rockin' on TMS.
She calls all her friends,
They already know,
And they've all got tickets to see Mayhem
She tags along
And stands in the crowd,
Looks up at the man that she tuned down.
He was a drummer boy,
She said "See you later, boy"
She thought she was too good for him.
Now he's a movie star
With Electric Mayhem.
Does your pretty face see what he's worth?
He was a drummer boy,
She said "See you later, boy"
She thought she was too good for him.
Now he's a movie star
With Electric Mayhem.
Does your pretty face see what he's worth?
Sorry, girl, but you missed out.
Well, tough luck, the guy is mine now.
We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends
Too bad that you couldn't see,
See the man that boy could be
There is more than meets the eye,
I see the soul that is inside
He's a Muppet,
And I'm just human.
Can I make it anymore obvious?
We are in love,
Haven't you heard
How we rock each others world?
I'm with the drummer boy
I said "See you later, boy.
See you backstage after the show
I'll be at a studio, singing the song we wrote
About a girl you used to know."
I`m with the drummer boy,
I said "See you later boy
See you backstage after the show
I'll be at a studio, singing the song we wrote
About a girl you used to know."

Wow. Not even my own dad commented on this. :concern: Is it that bad?

I meant to post here and tell you that after reading this, the song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day. It was a very clever parody.

And if you don't mind me asking, which member is your dad?

Ok, so this is another song parody to the tune of "Jenny (867-5309)":

Beakie, I got your number,
I need to make you mine.

I need to make you mine.
Beakie, don't change your number,
3-point-1-4-1-5-9 (3.14159)
3-point-1-4-1-5-9 (3.14159)

meep meep meep meep, meep meep meep meep meep....

Beakie, don't change your number.
I need to make you mine.
