They're really just sitting side-by-side, there's nothing all that fancy about it. But I'll try to remember to take a photo of it for you.

Nope, it's a back-burner project. I am still stymied as to the perfect medium with which to sculpt their scrubs.

I experimented with some new materials on this Link, in fact.

I'm sure I'll hit upon the right stuff eventually.

Here's a shot showing the two Link Hogthrob customs, side-by-side and head-to-toe. The one on the left is the commission, which I am about to mail out. The one on the right is the one for me.

And here are some more shots of them on the disco diorama set.

...and, DIP!"

I figure, in the absence of a scale Lesley Ann Warren, who better for him to dance with than himself?

Sorry Dearth... I meant veil.. not dress.
The veil from the actual figure has white roses on top.

You are correct about the style of dress.
Oh okay good... the white roses are there on the veil, they're just looped behind her ears because I thought they looked better that way.

Two Robin's in progress. The one on the right has had all of his original clothes dremeled away (that's a rotary tool) and then a thin layer of Sculpey was put over him, with the 'reticulated' texture provided by the tip of a ball-point pen. I must have made thousands of those dots. As soon as I match the right shade of green, he's a plain or naked Robin.
So you basically just cut off all his clothes and that is whats underneath? Or is the white the Sculpey?

In that photo, the white (actually sort of pink) areas are Super Sculpey which was smoothed over the roughly-dremeled plastic, and then I added the 'reticulated foam' dents one toothpick-tip at a time.

Sounds easy enough. Except for the reticulated foam dents...

Did you ever finish Robin? I haven't seen any pictures of him.

Oh, those were easy... just VERY time-consuming.

Yes. I was never happy with his half-factory, half-hand-mixed-match paint job, which is why I probably never posted further photos.

But a while back, I went ahead and completely repainted all of his green skin with one color so it would match evenly.

I'll try to take a photo later and post it.

Cool. I'm curious to say how he turned out.
