However Disney ARE opening up a larger version of Disney XD to the UK and also starting up a Disney XD TV channel which will take the place of Jetix.

So goes my theory that Saban has control over itself outside of the US.... sucks, since Jetix Europe (and international) actually has some GOOD shows. I wish we got a REAL Jetix over here.... I have to watch gadget and the Gadgetinis on Youtube... Pretty good show, just don't care much for the Gadgetinis...

However, I wouldn't be 1 percent surprised that the Muppet Youtube videos would wind up on some Muppet DVD release at some point, US and Europe.

that would make sense. disney do seem to love their adverts on dvds and i could see those videos being spliced together.

LTS also seems like a possibility although that would maybe irritate me slightly having impatiently pre-ordered the american one.

Jetix just wasn't working in the UK. Cartoon Network has too much of the market. Even Nickeloden UK has a reallly low profile compared to a few years ago due to the whole Disney Hannah/HSM thing really hitting big here. Its a more closed market than the states, less viewers to go around being a much smaller country so much harder for any competing channels to survive. Plus Disney are extremely serious about doing more kid/sport crossovers and that just wouldn't have fitted with Jetix, makes more sense to take the XD brand worldwide.
