I don't know if this sort of thread already exists, but I thought I'd create this to post and answer some of the random questions that keep people up at night... Here are a few of mine:

What determines whether a street is a road, street, boulevard, etc.?

When the bus driver gets off, who closes the door?

Why does The Penguin (from Batman) look so much like Franklin D. Roosevelt?

Do fish ever stop moving?

When cartoon characters blink, what do they use for that sound effect? (This one really bugs me!)

I think the sound that is used when characters blink is a string from a violin.

1) They pick one out of a hat.
2) He has to leave through the ventilation hatch in the roof. This also serves as a daily practice drill for the case of an emergency exit.
3)Absolutley no idea. I can't even think of a clever false answer.
4)Yes ....when they're dead. But I think fish do wade. I would assume the water current keeps them moving.
5) Again, No idea. But I remember 'Flavor of Love' using a bicycle bell everytime some crazy girl blinked. Hilarious!

1. Why, the whimsical Street Naming Man of course!
2. The bus comes alive and does it itslef
3. Maybe they are the same person
4. I've seen many a fish tank that have the same kind of fish that just sit around and do nothing
5. A car horn

ROFLMAO! So true! I don't, but I DO know people who turn down their radios while they're looking for a house or something...like...why? How does that help?
