How many Fraggles are there?

Just the known ones, in Fraggle Rock that is, officially. I think I read 200 somewhere but I thought I would double check with all my fellow fans...And yes, it is research for the last story in my trilogy

In all..I wonder did I see it in the wiki? No...I think I saw it in one of the extra drawings with the boxsets...I will have to look..Somehow, I remember the number 200

Aw golly, I just found the book and it says approximately ten thousand
So, I guess for being simples sake (and my stories) I will go with just the named fraggles (which does not count the ones in the far past that Mokey and Boober meet (met? Will meet?Gosh, time travel is hard to understand )...

Here's a few names of the Fraggles that've made it to the foregrounds alongside the Fraggle Five and Uncle Matt...

Feeny, Marlin, Large Marvin, Tosh, Freida, Lou, Storyteller, Molly, Uncle Gobo, World's Oldest, Henchy, Rumble, and Morris. The more significant Fraggles that've only made one or two appearances are; Cantus, Convincing John, Wizard, Rock Hockey Hannah, Gypsy Lady, Beige, Herkimer, Granny, Felix, Brio the Minstrel, Sidebottom, & Gillis

I remember reading in a Muppet magazine that there are a quarter of a million Doozers in Fraggle Rock. So there are probably more Doozers in the Rock than Fraggles.

Of course, they are like bugs after all..Anyway, I am not the biggest fan of the doozers so I don't need that number as much .

After doing a little math with the wiki I found there are about 20 named fraggles if I am not counting Uncle Matt and Harriet Storyteller for story reasons

Well, considering the Ditzies can just poof tunnels up if they want, there are probably infinite tunnels theoretically.
