Style Season 2

Cold Opening

Scooter: Alan Alda. Alan Alda. 25 seconds to curtain and happy birthday to you.

Alan: Thank you Scooter. This is going to be a birthday I'll never forget.

Sam: Mr. Alda. Can I please get you to sign this paper for me?

Alan: You want my autograph do you Sam?

Sam: No. It's a legal statement that whatever happens here on your birthday, I am not responsible in any way whatsoever.

Erm... Marty, you do know Alan Alda actually appeared on the Muppet Show right? It's a Season 4 episode, the one where Fozzie tries the classic magic act ending up with a bunch of rabbits following him around, and Alan drinking Bunsen's Jekyll/Hyde potion. Just struck me as odd to find this in Fanfic is all. But I do encourage your creative writing style as I do for all the talented authors here.

Actually Ed you are thinking about Alan Arkin. Which I remember very very well. A hilariously clever episode.

My guest star is Alan Alda. Snowthy will know him from his M*A*S*H DVDs. I don't really know M*A*S*H at all, but a friend of mine has suggested I try writing an outline or a script with him. I'll watch my season 2 DVDs and check wiki for information about the guest star to help inspire me.
Thank you for your encouragement Ed.

Lol! I don't blame Sam for not wanting to be responsible for anything that happens to Alan here on his birthday! :stick_out_tongue:

Cool beans Marty, I look forward to reading more!

Yes... Sorry, got my Alans mixed up. Though Alan Alda also portrayed the role of Larry, with Barbara Dana as Phyllis as one of Sesame's original clown duos from the early seasons. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for correcting my error Marty.

This will eventually be a full script but for now I'll put the bare bones together.

Kermit introduces the show and announces that it's Alan Alda's birthday.
Opening number: The pigs perform Singing in the Rain.

More to come as I think of ideas.

Kermit introduces the show and announces that it's Alan Alda's birthday.

Opening number: The pigs perform Singing in the Rain.

Backstage: The Swedish Chef is trying to organize baking a birthday cake for Alan.

Duet: Alan and Miss Piggy sing Tea For Two in an outdoor cafe setting. When they're finished the Chef presents Alan's birthday cake. Unfortunately it turns out the candles were supplied by Crazy Harry.

At the Dance: Birthday related jokes.

I'm getting back into this again. I'll do a little when I can.

Not bad so far Marty! I'm just thinking though, are you still unfamiliar with MASH? If not, where do you know Alan Alda from? The reason I ask, apart from curiosity, is that I don't know how easy it'll be to write an outline if you don't really know your subject. But best of luck!
