As for Fozzie ive seen the photos of the proto and he is huge.
I think most overseas would not be able to order him just due his size because of parcel restrictions.
Im not sure if he is like 600$ and you would have to spend an extra 300$ or more to get him if anyone oversea would order one.
There was talk of putting fozzie in a Foetal position to have him in the same size box as the other two.

Actually he started off with an aqua-colored nose that was more than one color so a solid dark purple nose would be incorrect in any legit interpretation. But then again, the nose sock isn't accurate either. It's about individual taste rather than accuracy.
That is strange.I could of sworn it was dark purple.I did a google picture search and indeed it is a blue/aqua color. But then on the DVD it is a purple color but not quite as dark as I thought. But I have seen Gonzo with a dark purple nose in an Annual, so he has come close to what I have, plus a resin figure of Gonzo in a chair has it, so I am happy with it.It is hard to have an accurate interpretation when the characters are changing all the time. That is why Palisades and Master Replicas have taken the approach of taking different features from the character and make it the quintessential muppet.

Gonzo's nose changed a bit every time they redid him I believe, so it would be hard to just pick one and say that is it, this is the only official nose he has...

One of my roommates had a party last night. I was in my room and one of the guests came in and was talking to me and then turned around and saw Kermit and Gonzo looking at him. He complemented on them and then asked where Fozzie was. I was like "Good question!"

I may sound like a broken record but I'd settle for any right now!

:search: Hhmm...Could the new company to take over the Muppet photo puppet replicas line be Sideshow collectibles?
They are now distributing the Tonner Miss Piggy doll by selling it at Sideshowtoy.com plus under it, they have added a gallery of the muppet busts that they used to sell, even though they have sold out of them. Seems they are giving themselves a Muppety presence which could be the lead up.comic con is less than 100 days away.I would suggest that anyone who is going to buy the Tonner Miss piggy doll-to buy it though Sideshow, to show them support. These 3 months are going very slowly.less than a month to go now.:excited:

I hope this is not some wild goose chase. Muppetperson are you sure your sources are kosher? I would LOVE it if sideshow did the replicas. Their quality and attention to detail, Imo, surpasses anything MR could do. I am fortunate enough to own some sideshow pieces including a 1:1 replica of Chucky, and can hosestly say their products are virtally flawless in every way!

I am not saying it IS Sideshow Collectibles, just asking the suggestion based on above mentioned activity.I asked SC customer Service if it is them, but they wouldnt deny or confirm it.I am still waiting for the introductory email to come from who ever the company is.

I'd be surprised if it was Sideshow - their core business is very much statues rather than prop replicas. I'm afraid, though, that any new company to pick up the license will re-release Kermit, sales won't be fantastic (because, let's face it, a lot of us already have him) and Fozzie will again not make it out. It would be very unusual for someone to pick up a license where another company left off, rather than just starting over from the beginning again.
