The way I understand older posts that remain inactive will automatically disappear after approximately 60 days. Or something like that. That's why it's advisable to save copies of your fan fictions.

Not quite... I mean, I've went through threads I've started to look for specific ones, and I stumbled upon a thread I started MONTHS ago that never saw any replies.

That's not true..I have my viewer set on show all from the beginning and I can see fanfic that was posted back in 2002 :sympathy:. So all our fanfics are kept IMHO :smile:

That's funny. Because Kevin told me once about this way that MC is set up to delete old posts that are never even looked at anymore. And he himself said that he had a fan fic of his deleted once just like so. Fortunately he had saved it to his computer and I made sure I saved all the fan fics I've written to date. :confused:

Could Kev or one of the other mods please throw some more light upon this matter please?

At one time we had conversations about closing threads after 90-120 days of inactivity. But threads aren't deleted unless there is a specific reason typically in violation of the rules.
