I've been watching some of Beloobius' Fraggle episodes that're up at youtube, and I had an idea. I thought that someone out there should write one of those "The Bible According To" books. They've got one on The Simpsons, Lord Of The Rings, and plenty others. There's just so much depth to this show that a book done in that fashion would certainly highlight FR's importance in society. There's just so many episodes that've moved me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Thoughts?

Sounds like a keen idea, especially considering our very own Becky/RedSonga/OrangeFlaffy is Baloobius. XD

Fair warning: it would get rather long, , since there'd be a lot to say. I'll try to remind myself to start working on it after fall semester is over, since apparently I'll have lots of free time.

Of course. But who cares? The show deserves a retrospective, considering how it has had an effect on the entire world!

Sounds like a cool idea. If one were to make such a book, it would be invaluable to obtain a copy of Karen Prell's Encyclopedia Fragglia, the show's bible.

Looking through those very rare annuals produced during the show's run would certainly help too.

Indeed. Care to post us a link to those things, Matt?

The person who posted that disgusting bit of Doozers killing Fraggles obviously has not seen the show. Or if they have, they didn't know that Uncle Matt does return in some episodes. XD

But I loved this bit:

Controvery on this topic continues as the Kansas State Education Board is considering plans to teach this view of Fraggles in school, stating they should teach both sides of the Fraggle controversy.

If I'd have known that the place in which I lived taught anything Fraggle related, I'd jump at the chance to be involved, especially since--as a "Hensonist"--I know far more about the Fraggle culture than the shmuck who wrote that 'uncyclopedia'. ^_^

In all seriousness, parts of the article--though it is all bullock--are funny, but yet some parts aren't.
