As I recall hearing, I don't think Jim Davis even draws Garfield any longer, although his name appears on the strip. I think someone else does his ghosting for him and he approves it.

Everyone go to youtube and check out the For Better or For Worse show from a few years abck, someone put a few clips up. I've always loved the strip and I was a big fan of the show, I saw every episode a bunch of times!

I didn't know there was a FBOFW show! That's cool--how'd I miss that? When I'm at a computer I can see videos on, I need to check that out.

You'll love it, Kevin! Just search it on youtube when you're on a computer than can handle videos, I found it pretty easily. Even the theme song/video is perfect in it's homage to the strip. It was made about 2002 if memory serves correctly. It was aired on Teletoon up here for years but it's been off the air for a few. Each episode they show one strip and one short cartoon from the early years, the growing years, and the later years. They cover alot of pretty big issues, too! It was a fantastic show.

Now certainly, every classic strip has a TV series spawned from it (Peanuts, Garfield, Popeye, and so many others), so why should FBoW be excempt?

Well, For Better or For Worse is a Canadian strip, a Canadian show, airing on a Canadian channel made by a Canadian animation company, so that's probably why none of you guys have heard of it. But I assure you, it's great.

You know, I've heard somewhere that he might actually have a team that works on the comics now. One person for the outline and one for coloring and one for the wording...
