Hi... Today's review.

Episode 4168: Elmo and Zoe's Hat Contest.
Air Date: August 22 2008.
Season: Season 39.
Sponsors: U, 14.
Word on the Street: Persistent.
Street Story.
The Hat Check Girl?
*Opens the coffin and shake out my fist.
Vhatever happened to the Metropolitan master of mathematics, the Count von Count?
Ah... Now I'm satisfied... Who can wear the most bats on their head...
Oh I love it when it storms. And the Count's thunder sounded more realistic/powerful here.
Film/Song: Have You Ever Tried?
Celebrity Word Explanation: David Beckham and Elmo explain "persistent".
Film: Kids talk about a ball being near and far.
They need to stop ripping off Grover's signature sketch.
Letter of the Day: Big Bird reads about the letter U from the Letter of the Day Book to some kids.
Segment: U jiggling around.
Segment: Which of these things begins with the letter U and protects you from the rain? Umbrella.
Murray Has a Little Lamb: Going to Karate School.
Anybody else notice they sped up the song intro?
After the line "Everybody loves to see a monster and his sheep", instead of the girls saying "Murray" four times like usual, they just went to the girl who says "Murray has a little lamb!"
Song: You're A Big Kid Now.
Number of the Day: Big Bird reads about the number 14 from the Number of the Day Book.
Cinderella and the prince joined the yoga class and lived healthily ever after?
Oy, still pushing the healthy habits schtuff.
Animation: 14 with a sort of jazzy trumpet soundtrack.
Animation: Traction Jackson shoots 14 baskets.
Muppets: 30 Rocks.
Animation/Song: They're Not Alive.
This song states that rocks, chairs and cars aren't alive. The premise holds true... Unless you refer to the following:
Herman, Master Yo's pet scorpion rock.
Chairface Chippendale.
The Wheezly Family's Ford Anglea.
Muppets: Grover the Weather Monster.
Animation: What do you see in the clouds?
Elmo's World: Weather.
Telly shows up at the last moment, bringing Big Bird the Sponsors Book.

Loved today's episode! Really thought the street story was great! Loved how the drummer and dinger was driving Gordon crazy! Loved the appearance of Count on today's episode! Love how everybody was screaming for More hats! More hats! Lol! Loved it when Elmo and Zoe ran into Susan's pile of cloths and splattered them everywhere! Loved at the end of the story where Abby put all the hat on top of Gordon at the end. Love Alan and Chris's chemistry as host of the "how many hat's can you where day event!" Loved the word of the day segment whee Elmo was butchering David and being "persistent" when he was explaining what the word meant. Lol moment! Love the sesne transitions with Big Bird reading the stories for the letter and number of the day! Oh, loved it when Elmo and Zoe were running pasts Grovers block tower in the street story who was trying to keep them and Alan and Chris where were running after them in the from knocking over his block tower, lol! Loved the "30 Rock" parody! Tiny Fey mimicking was dead on! Almost not sure it wasn't her, heh! Really loved seeing the Grover the weather monster bit again! Too funny! Loved the end where telling came with the sponsors book as son as Big Bird ran out of books to read and needed another one. Big Bird after Telly comes running seemingly out of nowhere in with the book: "Boy! News sure travels fast here on sesame street..." LOL! Over all another great episode!

I only saw the plot of today's, but I liked it. I liked seeing the appearences of Susan, The Count (both of them are usually in one street story a season), Grover and a Dinger.

I quess the bits with Big Bird reading were the clips they had in the Associated Press story about Carrol Spinney.

About the last new episode # 4167: Annual Triangle Toss

I thought it was a pretty good episode all in all! Loved how Telly still wanted to wear his vest and how he gave t to the new Triangle fan at the end. Big surprise was the " I Can Do It All By My Self" song by Prairie Dawn! But like the original one better. Loved the letter and number of the day Bits and closing with Telly and Baby Bear!
I have the same thoughts as u william that was such a cool eposide i loved the song that priaire downe sang " i can do it all by myself " so cute , this season as been so great .

I've always wondered...Are Prarie Dawn and Betty Lou related and if so, why haven't we seen Betty in a long, long time? As well, we've not seen Biff and Bruno since the 80's either. I wonder why?

But back to season 39, this episode rocks, simply 'cause it has Grover, Count (my fave), and Bird in it!

So only a couple new episodes aired this week, eh? Good to know I didn't miss too much this week... I was out of town, and I didn't get the chance to see them.

Well the metal bars are also a thing for safety reasons. So somebody couldnt break into a window or door and actually get in. Hahaha i've seen it in a lot of stores. Including my own dad's which he locks up at night.
Yeah... well, if that's one implication that its still a gritty inner city, that's something. Though I don't like the idea that they'd have to actually use that on SS.... The fact that someone would try to rob Hooper's store makes my heart hurt...
