Wouldn't we all? Mr. Rogers is as much an icon and treasure as The Muppets are, in my humble view.

I saw some new show coming to PBS Kids and it looks like more mindless dribble.:stick_out_tongue:

They still air TELLITUBBIES for crying out loud. That fell out 2001 or so. There was nothing remarkable about that show except that it was loud, crass, and imported. (I still think that's Britain's revenge for the Tea party) Are they even making new episodes?
Clearly you've never seen the Wiggles. Yikes!

I can't believe Barney is still on. I thought he went away years ago, and it's 2008.

Speaking of Mr. Rogers, for all of you who want a big laugh watch this:

In all seriousness, I would rather see the "Big Bird meets Mr. Rogers" episode over anything regarding that purple and green abomination.

Could you be specific of the title....

or at least details about the show?
I wish I could remember it at the moment. I know it had these puppets on it and it didn't look all that appealing to me based on the ad I saw for it.

Do you mean Panwapa Island (which incidentally is created by Sesame Workshop & has quite a few of the same Muppeteer performers--for example, Kevin Clash--performing)?

No, I don't think that was it at all.

Well, sans Panwapa, the only shows involving puppets left would be Between the Lions, It's a Big Big World, and of course, Sesame Street.
And don't forget Raggs Kids Club Band :coy:
