What meant to do was to show how the life of a present person vs. the life of a person who relies on technology. The reason I said that a young man fights through technology is becuase when he's walking outside, he's the only one there, becuase everyone is inside with their technology, just like the guy sitting on the couch. Also, when he plays basketball and misses and sighs and walks away, it shows that he feels alone and tries to make peace with it, throughout the rest of the film. That's what I meant.

Other then that, how was it?
Good editing, but bad play out of your story, and I only say that because no one got what message or story you were trying to tell, and as a film maker isn't that what your trying to do?

btw, you seem to have a good knowledge of filmmaking, do you make films too, besides this one?
Actually my background is mostly in theater, Ive done it most of my life. Though one class in particular was a script writing class. It was a very good class. I recommend taking one, just be warned, you will NEVER be able to watch a movie the same way again! your standards for a story and how its done go WAY up. Other than that I am a makeup artist, and have done lots of student films. Good friends of mine were/are going to school to be directors or just somewhere in film. Ive helped them out a bunch (actually I did the makeup for JediX's movie, a MCer) Ill try to find a link to his movie. Ive worked on movie sets (its quite fun, but stressful) Ive held boom poles, Ive solved last min delimas on how the next shot should go, Ive hearded actors around, Ive been a prop girl, Ive watched lighting be done.
I also self taught myself how to do a lot of things by reading books, watching videos, or watching other people. No I personally haven't made a film other than that one, but, I guess you can say I have a lot of hands on training.

That's okay. I actually though it was pretty good!
thank you!
But as far as being “knowledgeable” about film, I reall don't have anything to show for it :frown: Its a dream of mine to be a director or even just an active movie makeup artist, but it probably won't happen :frown: so the most I can do is share it so it doesn't go to waist
