Well, my first molar is starting to come in.

First of all, no, it doesn't hurt in case you're getting ready to ask... it kind of feels like when you got those little bits of popcorn stuck in your teeth, you know?

Well anyway, I've barely got enough room in my mouth for them, which means any molars I have that come in are eventually, and inevitably going to have to be pulled anyway.

Now then with that said, there's something I've noticed... we grow molars, and they're always eventually pulled... we're born with tonsils, and the doctors always take them out, we have appendixes that do absolutely nothing and sometimes have to be removed.

So with that said, do you ever wonder why we even have molars, tonsils, and appendixes in the first place when they're always taken out of your body eventually?

The dentist said I have an extra tooth that I need pulled too. I have reason to believe that that is the tooth that's casuing my top retainer to get stuck in between my teeth (a little too much detail?)

My belief for those part's existance is so doctors and dentists can make more money from the surgery.

Our back teeth use to rot out from everyday use and extra teeth like the wisdom teeth grew to replace them .

Also, as far as tonsils go I still have mine, they don't always have to be taken out .

Like other organs of the lymphatic system, the tonsils act as part of the immune system to help protect against infection. In particular, they are believed to be involved in helping fight off pharyngeal and upper respiratory tract infections.
I also still have my appendix to...
One potential ancestral purpose put forth by Darwin[3] was that the appendix was used for digesting leaves as primates. Over time, we have eaten fewer vegetables and have evolved, over millions of years, for this organ to be smaller to make room for our stomach. It may be a vestigial organ of ancient man that has degraded down to nearly nothing over the course of evolution.

Wisdom teeth are in a different class I think, mostly because many mouths aren't big enough for them, and most of the time it it as painful as teething..I know mine, I am just getting them now in my 20's, really are
