I heard it from someone. And from what I understand, it is going to be tied in with the show's 40th Anniversary. I also hear that, unlike Old School 1 and 2, this will be JUST clips, which MAY actually be a good thing. If you remember, for Season 35, they had this 3-CD box set called "Songs from the Street." It featured many favorites from the show, including a lot of the ones with celebrities. And it would be nice if they were to offer something similar in video format. It's not the same as episodes, but it MIGHT have a better variety for classic clips. I'm not 100% sure, but this is what I've heard for right now.

While that sounds like a good idea, I'd prefer episodes and classic clips, it makes a better set than just clips.

Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this. I'd rather they continue the 5 episodes, each from the beginning of the season, and multiple other clips as bonus features. While I do like the idea of an all clip disk, we'll no doubt see multiple reissued sketchs. I'd rather not see that, and have them go onward through the 80's.

That sounds pretty neat. Being born in late 1980, Volume 3 will be MY era so I'd like to see these clips:

Big Bird is consoled about Mr. Hooper's death
I Don't Want to Live on the Moon
Grover tries to sell Kermit a Nose Warmer
It's a Rainy Day (which my Mom sang to me whenever it rained)
Everybody Eats
The Baby Song
Kids Just Love to Brush
NTV

Kermit and Forgetful Jones - Oklahoma
Bert and Ernie - thirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsty
the film with a family visiting the newborn baby in the hospital
Carribean Amphiban
Kermit singing the Alphabet in the jungle
Bert and Ernie - Dr. Livingstone
Obviously they're gonna have more 80s clips than this so any other suggestions?

Another thing that bugs me,and this is only because songs from the Street was mentioned, it will be VERY celebrity heavy. And I hope it just encompasses a certain period of time, or we'll get a bunch of current celebs singing songs that are on many other DVD's and Videos.

80s Sesame Street is my era, too (born in '81), so they'd BETTER release a volume three. I want my Barkley

*five year old Songa comes in toting her popple*
I want my Barkley to ! And everyone else :excited:.

Even though I was born in '83, most of the episodes I remember were reruns from before that:search:
