supposedly, its 2.5D Whatever that means. I'm thinking that it will be both sidescrolling and other camera angles, such as behind sonic. I have seen pics of the camera behind sonic, which makes me think that.

Apparently there are day levels and night levels. The day you play as sonic and the night, well, WereSonic.

Yeah, the part that makes me sure this won't be great (other than it's SEGA), is Sonic Unleashing his inner fur(r)y.:super:

Having been broken apart by the evil Dr. Eggman, it's up to Sonic to put the pieces of the world back together again by retrieving the power of the chaos emeralds! In doing so, Sonic will find himself in a race against time and faced with an unusual situation that will challenge him in ways never before seen. Both day and night play different, yet important, roles in Sonic's newest questvas the sun sets, a new adventure awakens. By completing a wide variety of action-packed stages, spanning the seven broken continents of the world, gamers will need to unleash Sonics amazing abilities to save the world, and himself!
thats the plot of the story according to neoseeker

I have also read the Robotnik (or Eggman if you prefer) actually defeats super sonic (wow, and it only took him...what? 12 or so years?)

Hopefully, that means the game's good quality play then.
That is if Sonic Team was giving enough time to finish the game correctly and straighten out the bugs witch had been a major factor and problem for many a resent sonic release.

Did anybody here about the release the the PSP phone?

PSP phone? Why would anyone need a phone with a PSP in it (or vice versa)

I guess Sony is trying to compete with the iPhone?

Next there will be a Wii Phone, or an X-Phone, or even better, a DS Phone :stick_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, here is a website with stuff on Sonic Unleashed http://www.campsonic.com/

Bugs weren't the only problems. Shoddy controls & weak stories plagued some of the games for a time now, too.

you know, Sonic and the Secret Rings is the first new Sonic game I have ever played aside from Sonic Advance. After we had to sell my sega, Sonic just sorta...faded out of mind. Then I got Sonic Advance, which is masically a modern Version of the genesis games, only...not as good. I tried to play Sonic Heros, but it was only the multiplayer mode with a friend, so I cant really count that. And I liked Sonic and the Secret Rings. I just didnt like how you were basically always going foward (the backing up wasnt really helpful) on a fixed path.

So I really dont know how bad the new Sonic games are, cause I never played them

It's funny sometimes to see people rant and rave about videogame violence when most movies that are hits nowadays have loads more violence in them than most games do (sans M rated titles like Mortal Kombat, of course).
