I have noticed several online places to purchase plasti-dip from. I was curious if anybody is aware of any local type stores that might carry such an item? What would be the recommended place to get this?

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I was having difficulty locating a supplier in Canada a few years ago so I emailed them and they were very helpful.

Home Depot carries it in dipping and spray form.

I purchase mine from Home Hardware here in Canada. It'll run you $19.99. I tried Home Depot months ago and the sales person said they don't carry it anymore. If you can, order the spray form; the other "dipping" seems to dry out fast. If you can't I would recommend dipping as much as you can right away- have an assembly line of rods going

So this is for rod coating, is that right? I can't find the thread where someone talked about the rubber-like coating for noses (like a dog's nose), do you guys know what that's called?

Thanks for any help, sorry if I diverted the thread a little. :embarrassed:

Hmm

You know - I have looked on the Home Depot and Lowes web site just to see - I guess you have to actually go to the store - IU can't find it on their site - Do they go by another name for it?
