I have two:

Easter Egg Mornin'

The chickens quit and the easter bunny has to find his own eggs and nearly gets eaten by a snake

and

Peter & the Magic Egg

My amazon review:
I have always loved this cartoon, nothing says Easter more to me than watching Peter give the animals gifts so they will be able to talk. It may interest everyone to know that on top of just being a great classic cartoon the characters in it live on to this day as the mascots of the 125 year old PAAS Easter dye kit company, replacing the plain brown bunny that was once their trademark with the lovable Cotton the white rabbit (who, since I was born in 83, has been there for as long as I can remember).
All I can say is buy this VHS, it's truly worth it, and hopefully maybe even PAAS will someday put it out on DVD...

I really loved the original Here Comes Peter Cottontail from Rankin/Bass. About a rabbit who tries to deliver eggs throughout the different holidays to keep an evil rabbit from being the new Chief Easter Bunny.

All the Rankin and Bass ones are wonderful. Another great one is The Fat Albert Easter special. It really captures the whole point of Easter; making mistakes, being forgiven, new life coming from tragedy. It's amazing!

I usually just watch what ever happens to be on. Perhaps something is in Nickelodeon that usually doesn't come on. I love Snoopy being the easter beagle, though!

Easter special are hard to come by...

Haha! That's funny but I feel much the same way as I'm the same age you are. But they come on so early toward the end of the year that they usually pass right by me before I get a chance to notice they are.

Took the words right out of my mouth...fantastic special!
I loved the villain, IronTail...my dad used to tell us if we misbehaved as kids that IronTail would come see us. I think he just did it to be funny...we still laugh about it to this day.

I remember Easter Egg Mornin'. I used to watch that one all the time.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail is my favorite though. I thought it had a charming premise.

I don't really remember any other Easter cartoons at the moment. :frown:

There was one I used to watch a lot when I was little, but I no longer remember much of it except that it was a claymation. Pity.
