Hello everybody.

I'm talking to you from an internet cafe since I have some slight bad news.
MY COMPUTER ISN'T WORKING!

I disconnected it at my old unit and shifted everything to the family home but when I re-connected it it won't turn on at all. Just makes a beep-beep-beep sound.
I can't understand it at all but I've taken it in to be serviced and I hope it can be easily fixed up.

I've really been missing you all and I know you miss me too so here's hugs for everybody.

I hope I'll be able to get back online again soon. I am positive things will turn out fine.

Is it a laptop? Because whenever a laptop makes beeping sounds like that, then yeah, something is definitely wrong; I took a course in computer repair last year, but for the life of me, I can't remember what three beeps indicate... I'll have to go through my old study guides and find out what the problem is...

EDIT: Yeah, Marty? I just checked my notes, with all PCs, if you're hearing three short beeps, that's indicating that your computer's memory is failing, so it sounds like you might need to upgrade the amount of RAM you have.

As long as memory is the only problem, then hopefully you won't, but just in case, it IS always good to have back-ups.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about this, Marty. What a weird thing to happen. Good luck with everything! I hope that whatever is wrong with your computer (if it is just the memory or something else) can be fixed easily. And I hope you can get it up and working again soon!

I am at the Internet cafe again and I am happy to say that soon I will have my computer again. It was the memory failing but I'm told I haven't lost any data at all.

That's great and I hope I'll be back to regular routine though I'm still going to limit myself to weekends for reasons I've said before. I may visit via the Cafe service sometimes during the rest of the week though.
