However humble beginnings we all make on Muppet Central, we all contribute something that makes this a fun and colorful place unlike any other on the web!
Hear, hear!

I hope I wasn't one of those early on who was jerky. I think I've always been kind of silly and playful on the forums.

Muppet Central was my first forum to ever post in. Was it your's, or just among the first? It's why I still post here while I won't post at other forums at all.

MC was the third forum I joined. One was for Redwall books, so there were a lot of young people there and everyone got along pretty well, but I outgrew it. I was a member of another general forum that my friend recommended me, to but I got SO SICK of the bad attitudes on the forum by everybody. You couldn't even ask a a legitimate question without feeling dumb or receiving sarcasm. I stopped going to that place after I discovered MC, when I was starting my Muppet movie collection, and realised that there IS a place on the internet where everyone can be intelligent and civil and genuinely nice and awesome.

This is my first and only forum as well as it is for some other people here. And this being all I know every is so nice and very friendly people here. I've only heard horror stories about other forums from people who have joined this one and have been a part of others.

But herald, I see exactly what you mean now about being able to say something about a person on a forum and remain anonymous Vs. saying something to someone where you are actually with distance of them, The average person is not going to find you, track you down or anything like that. So it makes it easier to avoid an hide from that person. It takes me some time to understand sometimes.:embarrassed:

You've always been a great even-tempered guy. Wish I had more of that. I'm a better "in the room" guy than a forum poster. The speeling and grammatical issue alone... Fragments. Run on sentences that ramble (with too many parenthesis) that state the same point in several ways while still retaining a vague quality. Ugh. I'm more of a blonde when writing these days! I guess high-lift reacts with brain cells differently.

Anyway, people on the forum these days are of an initially friendly variety than when I first came around at the turn of the decade. Genuine and warm from the start. There's nobody around here I don't like. However, there are few like you that I count on as true longtime MC friends! :embarrassed:
