I finally got my Red (My first mini-review thingie)

The truly sad thing is that there is and will be no Mokey for any of the varying Sababa size lines of Fraggle plushes. That's why I'm waiting for the Mindstyle figurines, but looks like those have been boarded up in Chimney Rock for hibernation with the fuzzy toe-ticklers.

And the toys are still selling very well years later for a lot more money...I think if a Mokey had been made it would have been one of the most collectable and searched for all the fraggles even now...It's a shame they didn't know our fandom a bit more

Agreed. Mokey just doesn't get enough love when it comes to merch. That's okay, we fans have plenty of love for her. Now who do I have to see about a Mokey and Boober smilies?

Yeah. Sababa tried to work it out, but retailers didn't want to sell them. Pretty much the same thing that happens with any toy line that goes too far ahead of itself. I'm more disappointed about Matt, myself.

I really hope by the movie they get another deal to make plush toys.

That said, I never got the smaller Red, nor the Large DVD plush of Gobo or Red...

Unlike Matt though, Mokey was one of the main five so the lack of her character really shows IMHO : (. And with all the FR DVDs now the toys are selling very well even though they stopped making them. I hope the company can see their mistake now and starts up the line again soon

You can see through the negativity and pessimism of my posts I'm a Boober fan!

Of course, that was mainly due to the fact that when KB got the plush in they went like Radish flavored hot cakes. By the time I was going to get Red, there wasn't a Fraggle left in any store.

I'm a Boober fan to, I just like him for being a big sweetie under it all :3.
That reminds me, it is a shame they did not make a 'bigger' Boober to go with the bigger Red, Gobo and Wembley..I know he is smaller than them but not *that* tiny *lol*

Just wondering...I know it may seem a little ignorant...but what's on the DVD's that come with them? are they a few episodes or something?

Hi Pork. Yes, the DVD's that came with the plushies contain either three FR episodes or two FR episodes and one from FR the Animated Series. Hope this helps.

Awww, I'd love to have a Wembley...Red too for that matter. I should drop hints for Christmas.

I went to a KB just yesterday, and I didn't see one. I think they all sold out by Summer, and they didn't plan to restock them. However, there is a chance it can be found online. Just not for the same bargain price.
