Here's My list:
The Muppet Movie, Great Muppet Caper, Muppets take manhattan, Follow that Bird- 5 out of 5. heck, 6 out of five.
Muppets Christmas Carol- 3 out of 5. Kinda dull. Still a nice Christmas film, but it really lacks that Muppety feel, due to a human main star.
Muppet Treasure Island- 4 out of 5. Why such high marks? I think it was the last great Muppet film, and other than Piggy being pasted in last minute (maybe because she threatened the writers, after all, she IS Piggy), a well written adaption of a book, keeping it nice and Muppety. plus, Tim Curry really acts the heck out of the role as Long John Silver.
Elmo in Grouchland- 3.5 out of 5- While not half as much fun as Big Bird's film, we actually get to explore Elmo in a real character piece. usually he lacks as much character as possible, because he's used just so much, there's hardly anytime for character developement. A real shame, since this film is more Elmo quality and not more Elmo quantity. And Mandy Patankin was surprisingly hillarious in it. And anytime you see Dave Golez (he played the Chicken) on Sesame Street, it's a party.
Muppets in Space-3.5 out of 5- not as clever as the others, and the brawl between Sony and J.Juhl ruined the finished piece. But still, a fun film, and Pepe really sells it. And Bobo, Clifford, and other newer characters were fun to see on the big Screen.
VMMCM- 3 out of 5. kinda sloppy with the numerous celebrity guest bits, and it felt like it was trying to be a variety special and a film at the same time. But we finally got to see the Muppets act as themselves again, and despite quite obvious Simpsons humor from the writers, a pretty funny script. But it still feels all over the place as a film.
Muppet Oz: 2 out of 5. Missed oppertunites, a rushed finished project, an acress who can't act, and references to American Idol took what would have been a mildly enjoyable film and messed it up. While a lot of it was pretty good, some odd jokes about Nipples just made it... ooohh hoooh hooh (shudder shudder!) Plus, they did Oz a few times better, including Muppet babies.
