Ew, Beowulf. I am boycotting that movie. I really don't like motion capture. It's creepy. And the people wearing the motion capture suits are actors, not animators. They don't understand what a good animated performance consists of so it's really bizarre to watch. The only time I actually liked something like motion capture is the tv show Delta State, where they basically traced over the actors, so the movement is very real, but everything is so simplified and stylised that you can barely tell that there were people under there at one point.

Are you serious? This was a very blockbuster year. I can't even remember smaller films that tanked. I mean, yeah. most of the films were sequals (Threequals at that), but it was a very competitive month of may, with Pirates 3, Spidey 3, and Shrek 3. Of course, other than Shrek 3 (which I can vouche for) I only heard negative things about those other two. Shrek 3, I can vouche for the negativity. Seriously. If they waited a little longer and the script went through a couple more rewrites, it could have been better. I enjoyed it, but it was pretty boring compaired to the first two.

Amen to Shrek being a HUGE let down
but I enjoyed Priates 3 and Spiderman 3. The best movie of the year came at the end though Sweeney Todd, I love that movie! (ive seen it 3 times, my husband thinks im sick, lol)

I'll give Transformers 3 1/2 stars. Overall, it was good, but we didn't get to see enough of the Transformers themselves! And the human characters were just so flawed and awful. Then again, as Optimus Prime says, there is hope for this young race.
my husband and I laugh because it was a huge Air Force recruitment movie, they almost had their whole inventory of airplanes lol it was still a good movie

 Yeah I somehow managed to resist that urge. But it was a pretty hardcore scene!

The Best movie I saw was Ghost Rider. The CGI was fairly decent. I hate when you watch a movie and the CGI looks fake. But I dont particulary like CGI to begin with. They coulda done alot more with it though. I hated the ending. It was too happy. Yay! He Gets the girl! Blah. For once I would like a movie where the hero doesnt get the person in the end.

Shrek 3 was eh...I enjoyed it, but it was not as good as the other 2.

Ratatoulle-This was a very cute movie. I was a bit shocked at the G rating concidering they said the H-E-Double hocky sticks word a few times in it. But like everyone else has said, It was great that it didnt use those "gross out" jokes as I like to call them, mostly for my hatred and loathing of the word fart.

The Simpsons movie was not as good as I hoped. While it was ok, they could have done alot more with it. But then again, I musta liked it cause I saw it twice and bought the dvd
