I want to say we got maybe 20 or 30. At 8:30 we just gave up and turned off the porch lights. We have a bag we never even opened!
Aww, that's kind of... um... well... hmm... I don't know, it's just kind of... yeah...

It seems to me that kids who actually go door-to-door trick-or-treating has dwindled drastically since 9-11, doesn't it you? Since then, I've heard more and more talks about Halloween festivals and activities being held at churches more than anything (which seems oxymoronic to me, considering that devils are common icons for Halloween).

Yeah, According to folklore it's a Celtic Festival that got misread to some degree, and that because it's the day before All Saints (Hallows) Day, the Devil comes out or W/e.

So I started hte night giving out candy, dressed as a werewolf. Stupid kids were too scared. The boys were ok, they were like "cool" but the girls were all too terrified to come over. Its a pain constantly taking that thing on and off. I have really long bangs that come down past my nose (I need a haircut ) and they kept getting in the way when trying to put it on so I couldnt see out of the eyeholes...but anyways...

Me and my friend decided to go trick or treating. Pretty much no one was giving out candy. And we only had maybe 10 or so trick or treaters before we decided to go. We also ran into some older kids (older than us) who my friend said were too old. They didnt hate me, I was smart and agreed with them that your never too old for free candy. But At least I was wearing a costume >_<

Well, if you call a mask and gloves with what I wore to school a costume

My Harpo Marx costume turned out well, and I got recognized which is always good, hehe. At one point I saw my shadow and thought, "Wow, I really do look like him!" LOL

I was out til 3am. No drinking, just hanging out. Now I'm glad for DST!

It still would have been dark outside at 3:00 in the morning whether it's Daylight Savings Time, or not. :stick_out_tongue:

Okay, what do you guys want to dress up as this year? For me, probably something Muppety. Maybe Beaker, or Kira, or maybe Janice. Although, if I dress up as Janice, people might think I'm Britney Spears, just like a few years ago when I went as Hannah Montana. :stick_out_tongue:
