Aww, that's kind of... um... well... hmm... I don't know, it's just kind of... yeah...I want to say we got maybe 20 or 30. At 8:30 we just gave up and turned off the porch lights. We have a bag we never even opened!
Yeah, According to folklore it's a Celtic Festival that got misread to some degree, and that because it's the day before All Saints (Hallows) Day, the Devil comes out or W/e.It seems to me that kids who actually go door-to-door trick-or-treating has dwindled drastically since 9-11, doesn't it you? Since then, I've heard more and more talks about Halloween festivals and activities being held at churches more than anything (which seems oxymoronic to me, considering that devils are common icons for Halloween).
