First off, to correct you the word is Parody. Maybe one of the administraitors can help you by retitiling this thread.

That said, I want to see musician parodies and not real musicians doing bland parodies of their own songs. I love Chris Cerf and Paul Jacobs's work on the show back during the 80's and 90's. I'd really love to see that again.

I'd love to see a parody of Queen. I know it's too late, but if they did a muppet version of them singing a parody version of one of their songs that would be amazing. They could even name the Lead Singer Freddy Mars or something.

Well if they did do a parody of Queen, it would probably get the parents to watch with their kids.

Queen, unfortunately is too out of date. I'd say one of the current musicians out there, but there really isn't anything too interresting. Plus if it's current, they'll just get the celebrity to do it.

Now, I was thinking in the back of my mind, another Count watches tv for the number of the day gag.

One Piece.

Basically muppet versions of Luffy and Zoro follow a map to the greatest treasure of all, the "One Piece." And they open the treasure box up to find a giant number one. Luffy is extatic, but Zoro grumbles off back to the ship.

I could see that. My brother used to be into both that show and Shaman King. They could maybe somehow parody that one as well.

Uh there's been many things incluing rock bands that SS has parotized over the years that no longer existed at the time those skits were done so there's no reason why they can't do that now.

That's true, they were doing 1950s style tunes during the 1970s shows with no problem (though at the time the '50s were making a come back in pop culture in general).
