Okay, am I the only onne that got the joke in this one?

This is the skit where 2 characters are in a barbershop, and everytime they say something that rhymes with Air, Guy Smiley barges in and says "DId Someone say AIR?"

This segment is a parody of mid-late 80's Toyota clearance event adverts in which the announcer comes out and says something to the extent of "Did someone say Sale" (or savings).

I don't think he was questioning whetehr it exists. He was asking about if anybody else got the joke of the song. And I didn't (I wasn't even aware of those '80s commercials).

I saw them when I was younger. They aired a year before this skit was created. And yes, I have the song on an MP3 file.

I love when they take stabs at ACTUAL commercials. I also liked the one with the football player (I forget his name) forgetting to say the Alphabet. A parody of the "did you eat your chunky soup" ads.

I always laughed whenever Guy Smiley smashed through the walls. I guess he didn't feel like coming through the door.

The song's copyrighted 1990, the year that Jim Henson died, so it might have been. I've also read about another Guy Smiley sketch from thats eason where Guy Smiley took his entire studio audience out to lunch.

If you look through the archives of MC you might find the fake spam I posted awhile back in which I advertised air imitaing Guy Smiley's sketch. Not everybody appreciated the humor though
