Cool! I agree with you, I think Carrell is an excellent choice (even though I've never seen the show--but I know the basic premise and stuff). But I love The Office, so Carrell gets a thumbs-up from me!
I've seen the trailer, it looks like it's going to be really funny. Probably similar to the Pink Panther remake, but better I think (although I am a huge dork and I liked the remake!)

So the movie's already done? Yeesh, where have I been? Time to get your head out of the sand, Leachy-boy!

I liked the Steve Martin Pink Panther. It was better than I expected. I hear a sequel is already in the works.

Anne Hathaway is going to be in Get Smart as well. I enjoy her work so and I enjoyed the tv show when it used to rerun on nick-at-nite so this is one I happen to be interested in.

It's going to be a very pretty movie! I love Anne Hathaway and Steve Carrell is hilarious.

Alan Arkin plays the Chief, which is great. Also starring are Terrence Stamp (ZOD!) as the villain, Ken Davitian (Borat's sidekick) as his henchman, and roles for The Rock, Masi Oka, and a cameo by Bill Murray.

I actually think that the "complete series"/ "ultimate Collections" are a bargain. Sometimes they are cheaper than buying the whole series disk set by disk set. I really want the Beavis and Butthead one (especially for the Special Edition movie and mini bobble heads). And a Family Guy one is in the works as well.

But when the heck are we gonna see a Ren and Stimpy one? And it would be great if Warners had an "Ultimate Wacky Races" collection, bundeld with Dastardly and Muttley and Penelope Pitstop (with a bonus disk of the 1980's Wake Rattle and Roll Racing cartoon... I forget the name at the moment).
