Cult Classic.
Okay maybe there are a few people who doesn't mind the Crude humor of Adult Puppetry (No offense)
That's why I keep reiterating that even though I enjoyed elements of Peter Jackson's movie I still consider it "
The most offensive film ever made." I like the
link you provided that shows for Jackson this film was actually a labor of love. (Well, love, a hippo and a machine gun.) He spent all the time effort and money he could to make this low budget pet project.
The fact that there are a few people who don't mind crude humor in this composition is what makes Feebles a cult classic. Each time these threads are opened they usually have forum members on both sides of the issue, but no one should arbitrarily be discouraged or encouraged to see the film. I lay out the facts as someone who owns a copy (somewhere around here), remark about my experience and warn that it is not for every taste. There doesn't need to be judgment either way. Just stating that case to allow for free discussion for all. I have my opinions on the matter, but have understanding and respect for others. Again, no pointed statements, just felt the need to clearly state that.
