i GOT a LETTER from Carall S. today (8/3/07)

hey gang,

GREAT news! well..... .... for me anyways! last summer (2006) i wrote a latter and drew a picture to Carall Spinney and today (8/3/07) after ALMOST 1 year later he sent me a letter and drawing back! yippy!



this is the envelope with "pickle puss" and a postcard with Big Bird saying "TO. STEVIE! BIG BIRD! SPINNEY






this is the drawing he also sent me of Big Bird with a butterfly. In the bubble by Big Bird it reads, "Hey, Stevie! Keep Puppeting! and on the bottem says, "Your feathered friend - Big Bird and Carall Spinney 2007"






this is my letter from Carall, its says... "July 30, 2007. Dear Stevie - Thanks for the nice note from you (last year) I get hundreds of letters so most get annswered at least a year late becouse I have so much to do. Thanks for te drawing. Very Good! In return, I'll draw you a picture. We'll be starting our 39th year of our show (Sesame St.) in the fall and winter. I love a show that lasts! Warmly, Carall Spinney

I can't believe that you got to mail to my childhood idol and friend.. Mr. Spinny must have been very happy to recieve such a nice letter from a fan that grew from a child to a older person. They probably don't get mail from fans as much as before so congrats and I am sure that Mr. Spinny was just extremley happy.

He wrote me a few years back and sent me a hand drawn pic of Big Bird, and an autographed pic of Oscar along with a personal card. He's a nice guy in person too.
