The Paris Hilton situation is just a symptom of a much larger problem. From what I've heard, people are mainly concerned about all this because she's such a role model for young girls. Parents should be the ultimate role model in a child's life, but parents are so busy these days. It's not all their fault. It's practically a requirement nowadays for both parents to work. It's very difficult to find time to be with their children.

Gah! I missed it!

When the Beatles were on Larry King the night before, Larry plugged Paris's upcoming appearance. He said something to Paul and Ringo like, "Paris Hilton--you may have heard of her," and Paul and Ringo shook their heads "no," like who IS Paris Hilton. Those wacky Beatles. Still crazy after all these years!

I meant people say a lot of young girls see Paris Hilton as a role model, which they do.

They see Paris Hilton as the new IT girl. They look up to her like women used to look up to Elizabeth Taylor. Don't know WHY they look up to her, she's the worst role model in the world, but then again, what do you expect from a woman who really is a schmuck and is like one of those monkeys that is being led by a leash and fed popcorn in order to say what they want her to say. She doesn't believe half the stuff she says. Trust me, at least the part where she says that she's changed. If she really wants us to believe that, then prove it. Stop blaming the cops and stuff for your punishment and admit you were wrong.

I saw the interview, I don't have all that much of an opinion. I mean, she is still a person, 23 hours of solitude would be pretty hard. Maybe even harder for her cause she's used to having everything. But she does have her own problems. Doesn't everyone?

I saw Paris Hilton as a role model, until I realized that I wasn't a girl. Then I knew better.
