(Sigh)Thanks! Btw, you went to see America and Chicago in concert this month if I remember rightly, didn't you? How did that go? I bet it was great!
Thanks, William! He's fine. I still can't figure out what kind of bite it was...Aww, sorry that happened to your kitty, Winslow.
Possibly. It could have been another cat or a dog.Could it have been a rodent?
Aw man, I'm so sorry to hear about that! And you had to miss out on the concert? What a bummer.(Sigh)
I bet it was great! I didn't go. Blame my kitty.
You see, the afternoon of the show, my cat Lucas came inside, and I noticed a bare patch on his back. There was quite a sizeable wound there, and it was bleeding. But he didn't seem to mind. He wasn't picking at it or anything. He wasn't giving me any signs that he was in pain.
So I called the vet, and he told me to bring Luke down right away. The vet examined the spot. Turns out Lucas was bitten by another animal. But like I said, he wasn't crying or didn't seem to be in pain. In fact, he was just settling down for a nap when I first noticed the wound.
So the vet put Lucas out, then cut around the wound. He cleaned it, and told me to give him a pill twice a day, and to dab the wound twice a day with hydrogen peroxide.
This whole adventure happened in late afternoon. By the time I got home, there would be no way I'd be able to make it in time for the show, and I certainly didn't want to show up late. So I called Joe and Sue (the two friends I was going with) and told them the situation. They said no problem, they would have a good time!
At least the cat is all right.
But I'm sure I missed out on quite a show!
Maybe. There's also a lot of squirrels and chipmunks (the non-singing kind) around here. All I know is, my cat ain't talkin'!Like a dog on the lose picking a fight orsomething?
Thanks, Kiki. He's doing fine.Aw man, I'm so sorry to hear about that! And you had to miss out on the concert? What a bummer.
I remember late last year America came here and I didn't go. -_- My only excuse is my folks, they knew very well that I had been a big-time fan of America for years and they were my second fave band (after The Beatles) but they just didn't let me go. It wasn't a majorly expensive concert, most of the other concerts I wanted to go to were quite pricy and were in arenas but this was only in a threatre in the city which wasn't that huge. AaArRrGgHh!
Btw, I hope your cat is feeling better. Hopefully you'll make it to another concert.
