The Muppets have worked with so many awesome stars over the years, that there's a nice little web spun through Hollywood. Almost every big star of the '70s and '80s (and a whole lot from the '90s and '00s) has worked with the Muppets at one time or another.... and then they went on and worked with each other. So what are some connections between Muppet guests?

Clue- Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White (TMS & TMM)
Lesley Ann Warren as Miss Scarlet (TMS)
Tim Curry as Wadsworth (MTI)

Young Frankenstein- Marty Feldman as Igor (TMS)
Madeline Kahn as Elizabeth (TMS & TMM)
Cloris Leachman as Frau Blucher (TMS & TMM)

Beverly Hillbillies The Movie- Cloris Leachman as Granny (TMS & TMM)
Dabney Coleman as Mr. Drysedale (MTM)

Revenge of the Pink Panther- Peter Sellers as Jacques Clouseau (TMS)
Dyan Cannon as Simone (TMS)

Wasn't John Cleese also in Clue?
No, I don't believe so. Atleast not in the principle cast. It was:

Tim Curry as the butler (forget the character's name)
Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Green
Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard
Michael McKean as Professor Plum
Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White
Leslie Ann Warren as Miss Scarlett
Some Crazy Lady Who's Name Escapes Me as Mrs. Peacock.

Hope this helps some.

Easy to get Tim Curry and John Cleese mixed up. "Random British Guy Number 1." and "Randon British Guy Number 2." Yet, easy to tell them apart...RBG #1 has a wide, wide smile. RBG#2 has a moustache.

There's also...

Miss Congeniality- Michael Caine (MCC), Candice Bergen (TMS), Sandra Bullock (MT), and William Shatner (MT).

Desperate Housewives- I'm ashamed to admit I actually know this, but Carol Burnett and Lesley Ann Warren (both TMS guests) have made guest appearances.

The Carol Burnett Show/Mama's Family- Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman (both TMS) were regulars on The Carol Burnett Show, and two of the characters they created (Eunice and Ed) were carried over to Mama's Family.

Cinderella- Rodgers and Hammerstein's original Cinderella starred Julie Andrews as Cinderella and Kaye Ballard as one of the stepsisters (both TMS). In another version, Lesley Ann Warren (TMS) played Cinderella and in yet ANOTHER, Bernadette Peters (TMS) played the stepmother while Whoopi Goldberg (MT) played the queen.

The "crazy lady" is Eileen Brennan:smile:

Wadsworth was the butler's name.

Michael McKean actually played Mr. Green, and Christopher Lloyd was Professor Plum.

Heh heh:smile:

Silent Movie (1976) Mel Brooks (TMM), Marty Feldman (TMS), Dom DeLuise (TMS), Bernadette Peters (TMS).

High Anxiety (1977) Mel Brooks (TMM), Madeline Kahn (TMS, SS), Cloris Leachman (TMS).

Trail of the Pink Panther (1982) Peter Sellers (TMS), Harvey Korman (TMS)...although most of this film is made up of outtakes from previous Panther films, since Peter Sellers had passed away two years earlier. Korman appears in a scene deleted from one of the earlier Panther films.
