I know I said I wouldn't be posting on here, but...

Well since I last posted on here, I've mainly just been staying single. But a couple days ago I found out that a girl that I've known for several yrs. is really interested in me. If you guys want to know anything more about this girl, I'd be happy to tell you.

You could always try and go for it. Just remember to take your time, but not to much time.

Thanks. I asked her out last spring, but she said she wasn't ready to start dating yet. And the bad news is, I probrablly won't be able to see her again till after christmas break. Well so you guys can know a little bit about her...
Her name is Chelsea, she's 16, a chearleader at the highschool I go to, really attractive & just has a really nice personality... and also a longtime friend of mine.

i have a question kinda about dating that really shouldn't have it's own thread, and sorts fits in here, regarding "making out." i've been racking my brain at night as i'm going to sleep, and whatnot, but just need somewhere to ask. i can get into making out fine, there's always a great opportunity where i find myself with a girl and we both feel it, and it happens. my question is: what do you do afterwards? i've always just gave the person a smile, a hug and began holding their hand. should i ever say something?

kind of a strange question, but any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

About racking your brain about the subject of Dating, I've done the same thing every once in awhile. Now to answer your question about... What do you do afterwards?, What some of my friends either do is hold hands or they just go ahead and say something. But anything you choose should work out fine.

Update

Well, right now I don't really have a problem with dating... since it's summer and all. I don't remember if I told you guys or not, but Chelsea and I broke up. Cause' it turned out all along that she already had a boyfriend, which she never told me until the night we broke up. That happened right before Christmas break. Since then, I've mainly just been dating or looking for a soul-mate. Sadly recently, that hasn't worked out too well. I mean it hasn't been me... it's just girls living too far away or a couple yrs. diference in age. So I've been thinking recently, if I can't find the right person for me... I think I'll just stay single. Bc I was talking to a friend of mine this morning... and she said that " she didn't need to have a boyfriend to make her happy ". And that's pretty much the way I feel about having a girlfriend. Cause' nothing says you have to have a boy/or girlfriend. In fact with the kind've career I want to have( which is to move to Sweden to start " Beat Street " and to possibly be a musician ) it's probrably a good thing I might stay single.

Well you have to do what's right for you. I never dated as a teen, so it wasn't a problem in that their wasn't a problem trying to date. But it could become one for someone who might not be able to find a date, LOL!:stick_out_tongue:

Aww Joey, I'm sorry Chelsea wasn't honest with you about the fact that she already had a boyfriend. But you're dealing with this very well. I echo William when I say that you definitely should do what's right for you. And listen to your heart. You'll know when it's right.
