Well, since I've not seen Emmet Otter, I really can't talk about Fred Lizard, other than the fact that he's part of the Riverbottom band. But since he's one of the bad guys, it's a safe bet that Richard had fun playing him - like I said a while back, it's to counterbalance his past as a Boy Scout and as Closter's favorite paper boy.
And somebody mentioned that there was one early SS sketch involving a group of gangster types, and one of the sidekicks, one with a very familiar voice, kept saying "You tell him, boss!" So I'll bet Fred was the same.
One of the other reporters at work today said, "Hey, William Paterson's holding something called 'Sesame Street at 40.'" And I said, "Oh, yeah, I'm going to that." It's almost hard to believe that it's only a few days away now.
