"Hey, pick up the tempo, will ya? I like a dirge you can dance to!"
Lol, I really need to watch that episode again. "Pick me up and lay me down and spread the news all over town and tell them all to come or they'll be sorry! Pick me up and shake me twice I'm coming back from paradise, this poor boy is here to live in glory!"

I really liked that poem you posted under Henson People; it really does echo Richard's spirit and outlook on life. And like the speaker in the poem, I believe he'd really want his fans to channel their admiration for him into things and actions that make life a little brighter for other people. After all, how better to remember a generous person than to do acts of generosity for others?
Glad you liked it! Fer sure, it's something they really ought to discuss more at funerals and memorials. Instead of just suffering by yourself, use it to help improve the world for others.

That reminds me, my old Pre school has excepted my offer to donate my Fraggle DVDs! I'm really glad because I have a lot of nice memories from there (my old school photo is of me with a Sesame Street book lol). It's hard to give them away, but at the same time it feels really good if it means little kids will get to see them.

I updated my Blog entry a little bit today, just about the concept of generosity and what I've learned about it from reading about Richard, hehe.

Oh, yeah - that one's destined to be a classic. (By the way, on the MuppetCast site, where are the archives located now? I can't find any links to them.)

Also - and please correct me if I'm wrong - did you say on the "SST 40th Anniversary Event" thread that you would be coming after all?

The easiest way to access the show archives is to now click the "Podcasts" menu link near the top right side of the page. That will display all past shows for you, and you can click the arrows at the bottom of the screen to page through them. I think I set it up so there's 40 shows per page. Click the show number on any of them to see the full show notes and the little player for the mp3.

And YES! I will most definitely be there at the SST event in New Jersey! I just booked my flight/hotel/car today. So I'm landing in Newark at around 10am Friday the 30th, attending the event, and then flying back home the next day in the afternoon. Are you planning to attend too?

I also went ahead and moved Richard's tribute episode to the front page, so people can find it and revisit it easier.

@ heralde: I've read your Richard Hunt blog before, and I thought it was cool already. I like the new information, it's always fun to read these small pieces of info about Mr. Hunt.
Aw thanks! Yeah it's always fun updating it and seeing it show up in google searches, hehe.

And YES! I will most definitely be there at the SST event in New Jersey!
Cool! I'm going to attend as are a few RHLC-ers here. It's very exciting!

Heralde, email me sometime before the 30th and we'll figure out a time for all of us to meet up before or after the event. From what I understand I'm sitting in the Press section.

Okay, thanks for the info.

That's right - my family and I are all coming, and we've had our tickets for a while now. We're all really excited, and it's going to be so cool to see a lot of other forum members there.

See you there, Steve! And I'll drop you an e-mail as we get closer to the 30th.
