Hmm...did I mention I want a Scooter plushie now more than ever?
That and Adidas. I just ran through the house for like an hour trying to find my blue Adidas shoes to start wearing forever and UNLESS THEY TURNED INTO NIKES it turns out I didn't have any Adidas after all.

Well, the saying is that a person is only really dead when no one remembers or cares about him or her anymore.
The same applies to toons, too. In fact, Babs of Tiny Toons learned that if no one laughed at toon humor, if no one recalls said certain toon, or no one really cares about said toon anymore, then the said toon is pretty much dead.

Hehe, I tried on Adidas in the store recently; I was broken hearted to see they didn't really look right on me, lol. Though, I guess following my own personal style is in the same spirit. :flirt:

It's so inspiring to hear about people like Richard who were so free and followed their own style. Sometimes it pays not to be so concerned and uptight in this world. Though I do love the story of how the crew took Richard shoe shopping, I can just imagine, lol. It's nice to have friends who care (and don't want you to embarrass yourself, or them, in front of the Queen!)

In other acting troupes full of highly-talented people, you'd expect a lot of back-stabbing. But with the Muppets - they all had each other's back.

But on the shoe issue, Richard has my complete sympathy; I only wear dress-type shoes when I absolutely have to, and only if I'm not going to do a lot of walking. All other times I wear sneakers, usually Adidas or Reeboks. It's because of the way I walk; I drag my heels and turn my toes outward, so I need a shoe that's relatively flexible and forgiving.

I resent being forced to dress up, only if I really want to. I'm so sensitive, anything feels uncomfortable, especially shoes, lol.

And it's true, acting groups can sometimes be very petty and clique-ish. You're very lucky if you can find a more humble group that's secure in its talents (insecurity can cause a lot of problems).

And the pro wrestling business is a great example, considering you have a bunch of people portraying a variety of characters (i.e. acting out their roles) and whilst that is going on, one set of people is in control (in the WWF/E's case, the McMahons) and those people--particularly Paul Levesque, Micheal Hickenbottom, and others--would like to maintain the political positons they've acheived within the business.
