Got your messages, Steve - glad to hear Jane liked the quilt!

It's a busy night on the forum - when I last checked the main page, there were probably a hundred names in the active users box.

I guess cause of the Disney show. I'll have to catch a rerun. Though I'm hesitant about today's teen idols, heh.

Same here, heralde; truth be told, I've always been a little (okay, maybe a lot) suspicious of so-called teen idols these days.

Just had a listen to MuppetCast 69 - and that's right, I think Muppets On Location was done in 1991 or something. So it certainly was one of Richard's last cracks at the Muppet bat. But Janice is quite the bandleader there, fer sure...

Somebody remarked somewhere that Janice at that point sounded rather like Scooter.

Well it's just all so conformist and "pretty people." I know first hand how that can affect kids' self esteem.

Rully! I felt like jumping up and down the whole time, lol! I've been so down lately and this made me feel so good. I don't know what to say um...thank you, Steve! And thank you, Richard!

And you know, maybe the voice sounds weird because we aren't used to Janice getting to talk so much. And maybe Richard wasn't either; she was usually given cute one liners, rather than carrying the show. Did she say at the end, "We need more exposure!"? Lol, that great.

Hmmm... Richards voice does sound a bit off. I wonder if it's because the sound of the venue the her voice is projecting from?

Yeah, the acoustics could have something to do with it; they can make a person's voice sound higher or deeper.

Like I've said a few times, I've noticed the same thing during Richard's spot on "Down at Fraggle Rock." 'Course, in that case, it's probably one of three things: the acoustics, the microphones, or maybe a case of blocked-up sinuses.

In the meantime...really can't wait for MuppetCast #70. And it looks like it's going to air around the time of a certain Muppet performer's birthday...:excited:
