Thanks (or as Junior would say it "Tanks")

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I am glad to be here! This club makes me want to go home and watch a Junior Gorg episode of Fraggle Rock! :smirk: :excited: :coy:

Watch "The Battle of Leaking Roof:"

"Are you sure this isn't one of your dumb hare-brained schemes?"
"Oh, no, Pa, this is one of my smart hare-brained schemes!"

Chalk this up under wishful thinking, you guys, but last night I dreamed that someone had located a tape containing a phone interview with Richard, and passed it on to Steve to play on the MuppetCast.
I think the interview was dated 1987 or 1988 or something, and Richard (who was apparently calling from his place on Cape Cod) went over all sorts of stuff; Muppet projects, life on the Cape, the trip that he'd just taken to Ireland, and so on and so forth.

There was probably more, but then I started dreaming that I was standing by Niagara Falls. For some reason, I've had a number of dreams involving Niagara Falls lately.

Oh yeah that's one thing you should expect around here, the occasional cooky yet fun Richard dream, lol.

Here's another thing to expect:

I remember seeing this special (Muppets Go to the Movies) on Nickelodeon years ago. I had no idea who Richard was, but I remember really adoring Janice's voice in this scene. And in the sketch that happens I believe just after, you hear Richard's voice from a cow puppet and I remember thinking at the time, that that's a voice I always associate strongly with the Muppets. So I guess you can almost say it was meant to be!

That's already a very good list, Devco! I'll see if I can think of anything!

And he does have that ability to stand out when he performs because he takes those chances. He's not worried if something looks over the top or silly, he just goes for it. Any sort of holding back and it wouldn't be as successful.
Yeah! That is Richard all the way! That's an extraordinary way to work and to live!

Oh, sure!

Let's see, off the top of my head, some of my absolute faves besides the ones you listed are: Rama Lama Ding Dong and Six String Orchestra (both songs are in the Mark Hamill episode of TMS), any Don Music song (like Mary Had a Bicycle), Letter B (sung on SS by the Beetles), Dream Girl Lover and How Wide, How Far, How Long (both sung by Junior Gorg on Fraggle Rock... and really, any Junior Gorg song is great!), Free and High (sung by a Richard character, the Magical Spider-Fly, in a duet with Wembley on Fraggle Rock), Rockin' Robin (sung by Janice and the Electric Mayhem), Proud to Be A Cow (sung by Gladys the Cow on SS), The Peace Carol (a Christmas song sung by Scooter and John Denver on John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together album). Rev (sung on Fraggle Rock) is another great one, too! Hmmm....

Let's see, that's all I can think of right now from memory. Placido Flamingo songs are always so much fun, too, but I'm having a bit of trouble right now thinking of specific names of his songs. But I'm sure others will have really great ideas, too! Their memories are better than mine are, lol! And I hope this helped you a little bit, Mr Devco!
