Making shadow animals with hands

I'm not sure if these have ever been talked about here at MC. In the 70's I remember a lot of different sketches where people would put their hands in front of a light and make the shadows look like different kinds of animals. I thought they were real neat but wanted to be able to do them myself and could only do simple things like birds. Some of them on SS were pretty impressive and complex. I remember some good ones of dogs.

i wonder what was the name of that guy? sometimes you would see just before he began.

I master the dog and bird from these; others are a come as come level of prefection.

I believe they did one for a Cow which appeared before one of Sawing14's videos on Youtube.

It's all done with hands

I remember once or twice they showed the guy- looked like an Indian or Pakistani- rolling up his sleeves and giving us a smile, before he proceeds to dazzle us.

Besides the dog and the birds (he'd show a bird in flight, and a parrot) he could also be an elephant, and most impressive of all, a man laughing.

It's amazing to do something so creative with just your hands! Bravo!
