Someone came in one day with an Argyle sweater and I started chatting her up about Angus the argyle gargoyle who gargles Gershwin. We also get alot of postal workers and I mentioned the singing/dancing scene in Letters to Santa to one of them. Those two are specific but I have talked about it with others also.

I just thought of one!
If you interrupt a "serious" conversation about Doctor Who to talk about the Muppets. (Doctor Who's my favorite show, but the Muppets are my favorite thing EVAR)
That one would probably only work for people who are fans of the show, though.. but to us, interrupting a Doctor Who conversation is like saying.. *shifty eyes* It's like saying.. that Count von Count's favorite thing is the alphabet.

XD it wasn't bad, really, but.. my friends were talking about the new specials, you know? And then I just jump in and go, "You know what? Forget the specials! I'm going to go watch the Muppet Show!"
