jerry nelson in very merry muppet christmas movie

hiya hiya hiya :embarrassed:
i would lie to know in vmmc movie is jerry nelson in it.
the voices for robin and lew zealand sound off but it says somewhere in the credits that he was in the movie.
anybody know???

oh yeah and floyd didnt even have one line. bummer :sing:

He was sick when the taped it. Lew was performed by Bill Baretta and they chose not to loop him afterwards. But Jerry did loop Robin in the postproduction

Jerry is stepping back from this Muppet characters (he'll still be around sesame street for awhile), but his characters are in good hands (or should I say good hands are in them. In Very Merry Muppet Christmas movie Jerry was sick for most of production and what he missed was done by other muppeteers. He looped lines afterwards to go over the fill in puppeteers (but not for all his characters - like Lew Zealand). His presences will be missed, but his characters and spirit will live on through the work of all the other muppeteers filling in.

It's sad but he is 70 I believe, or aroung there. He's done a lot with the muppets into his later years. He deserves a good rest. I am glad they are recasting now rather than after he has passed away. It's much more of a passing of the torch kind of thing as opposed to a scramble for new guys kind of thing.
