Alleged new Muppet pilot is in the works?

When I first saw the Muppets 10 minute presentation pilot on ABC’s YouTube channel, I thought it was decent. I liked it. Not sure why ABC eventually took it down. Quite frankly, it’s nowhere to be found on Disney Plus. But then when I watched the actual series, it got so boring. I literally turned the channel. It could’ve been much better. The fact that Muppets Tonight actually lasted two seasons says a lot. Even Muppets Now wasn’t entertaining for me. Don’t know what will come out of this new Muppet Show pilot but I won’t hold my breath any further.

Definitely not. I was a big fan of the 2015 series. It was not perfect, but it had some incredible moments.

As far as this new series go, do we know if this is a one-off special or a full show?

it’s apparently a back door pilot so if it’s successful there will be more episodes made, also what I meant by my comment was all of us in this thread are wishy washy about the new project I was not talking about the 2015 series it was a miscommunication.

To be fair, given how poorly Disney has treated the Muppets over the years, many of us aren’t enthusiastic or interested in this new special. Nothing about it seems promising to me, and I won’t be watching it.
I have nothing against Sabrina Carpenter, but her inclusion in this special feels like a desperate attempt to keep the Muppets relevant.

I know what you mean. I hate it when it got cancelled and end it in the cliffhanger. Worst than to be continued!
