Given how I kinda predicted this would happen:

Probably this year. I doubt she’ll make it to 100.

And now they’re both gone. By the end of the year, there will be only none.

All I can say is I hate being right.

Honestly I don’t find it a coincidence at all that she just happens to die on the VERY LAST DAY of 2021 days before her 100th birthday.

But truth be told given her health I was honestly convinced she may have had a chance. And to be perfectly honest I was hoping she would make it because I wanted to see her 100th birthday be a big blow up. But alas…. It didn’t happen. Overall though I was just really both sad and infuriated it happened. I get death happens but come on, on the very last day of the poopiest sequel to 2020?

All the talk about her upcoming 100th birthday celebration made me feel like they were tempting fate...and sadly that ended up being the case. RIP Betty. Not many get to see 99 and very few celebrities were as beloved as her, she'll be missed.
