So I borrowed my brother's DVD for Kermit's Swamp Years and.... The disc was scratched.

I'm gonna wait till comic Con passes at the beginning of next month before watching it on Amazon....

So there's a (very wonderful) neighborhood that has two ways of getting into in my hometown (I think we have some family friends that live in one of them), and this one guy dangerously squeezed his way through on the same side a car was exiting (he literally drove on the grass).

Ugh, ok so, my grandmother makes up stories in her head whenever she doesn't have all the answers, and then she tells them to other family members as if the stories are true! Apparently...
-my eight-year old brother has a girlfriend (which he doesn't)
- My sister and her boyfriend are getting married! (they've been dating a year, neither of them are interested in marriage, nor would they be able to get married financially, and neither of them have ever dated anyone else)
-And here's the one that really ticks me off- apparently the reason I haven't gone to college yet is because I am "Such a mama's boy. Can't stand to leave his mother."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh at that last one, because I've heard it myself a number of times in my adult life - even from my dad.

But in all serious, now I kind have to stay with her, because she's disabled now, and requires a caretaker - and with my dad being a truck driver, that responsibilty falls to me.

Man, that really sucks. It's never fun to watch someone you love's health decline over time. I do get the sense that your mother appreciates your care though. My grandma only gives compliments when she gets exactly what she wants when she wants it.

My grandma on my mom's side is slowly coming to her end.

There are days I worry she probably won't even make it into the 2020's. :smirk:
