Dude, I felt the exact same way that you do not too long ago, but you get used to it after a while. It's disorienting at first but really fun. First of all, it's a really small group so you're very unlikely to get lost in the shuffle. I guarantee you, you are always heard. And second, if you ever feel the need to swear, there's no censoring (must resist the urge to make a joke about Censored). Next, we just have so much fun. We play games, that are far more likely to get approved than they are on the forum, and there's voice chat so you can actually hear what all your forum friends voices sound like. Now, the voice chat is really cool, because it gave us (me, @Old Thunder, @LittleJerry92 , and a few others) the opportunity to work together on this really neat project, that we'll hopefully be releasing soon. Plus, there are bots with these cool functions, like a telephone bot that allows you to talk to random users from other servers, etc, etc. It's really fun. I never thought i would enjoy it, but now I love it. I'd urge anyone here to at least try it out for a day or two.I'm really not a Discord guy. I find large group chats to be disorienting, overwhelming, and easy to get lost in the shuffle - especially when several people are posting at the same time. Really, the only time I'm really ever on Discord is a Chipmunks server that's connected to a forum I belong to, because the forum has a lot of downtime.
Other than that, I'm on this forum almost every day, so what do I need to get on the Discord for?
Even a group chat of three or four is a bit much for me.First of all, it's a really small group so you're very unlikely to get lost in the shuffle.
Oh yeah, I somehow discovered him on Facebook recently, quite by accident . . . it would appear he's coincidentally in the same M*A*S*H group as I am.must resist the urge to make a joke about Censored
I'm sure you do, but right now I'm really focused on my new MORON LEAGUE installment to get involved in anything else right now - especially since I'm having such a hard time replacing a voice actor who bowed out of the project, which is why I've been visiting the Chipmunks server more frequently lately, because I'm looking for someone from that fandom.Next, we just have so much fun. Well, perhaps.I'd urge anyone here to at least try it out for a day or two.
And yeah, I understand if you're busy with stuff. It's ok.Even a group chat of three or four is a bit much for me.
