Legendary actor Burt Reynolds passed away today of a heart attack at the age of 82.

It's interesting that just a couple of years ago, he was in my hometown filming an indie movie with Chevy Chase and Ariel Winter . . . I guess that was his last role ever.

To younger viewers, he's also known as the voice of Charlie B. Barkin in All Dogs Go to Heaven.

Or, more specifically, the first voice of Charlie. IIRC, Charlie Sheen did his voice in the sequel (sounding nothing like Charlie B. Barkin).

I always liked his appearance on Sesame Street when he said the alphabet.... In a very calming, ASMR like way.

And of course, his performance in All Dogs Go to Heaven.

May he R.I.P.

I was never really a big fan of Burt, but I am sad for anyone who is a fan, as they’ve lost a huge icon

To game show fans, he also co-created Win, Lose or Draw with host Bert Convy (Burt & Bert Productions). The set was even modeled after Burt's living room, interestingly enough.
