Died yesterday at the age of 92 from bone cancer. Best known as Mrs. Garrett on The Facts Of Life and Molly The Mail Lady on Sesame Street.

I remember when these clips with Charlotte were brand new.
In Season 3 there were a number of minor characters (including Raul Julia) who didn't last beyond the season.
At least they retired Molly's character before she got disgruntled.

I mean, we really only have 2 season 3 episodes surfaced.

Every time SST adds a bunch of new cast members, there's always the one person that really stands out that doesn't last. For Season 25, it was Ruthie, for season 3 it was Molly. Charlotte was a very funny and charming person. There was something about her that made all of her characters endearing.

Glad she lived a nice long life. May she rest in peace.
