So, I was thinking about how many discs for movies/shows I rented from my local library that were scratched, and I could easily say 9 so far, but at the same time, I feel like there were more and I lost count.

Just the fact that I lost count right there shows that most of the DVDs are in crappy condition.

I don't check out movies from my local library for 2 reasons:

1) 95% of the time the discs are scratched.

2) I hate my library. Or more accurately, I hate the people who work at my library. You ever known people who just go out of their way to be rude and unfriendly? That's exactly what those people are like. I honestly just buy books/movies sometimes because I really don't feel like dealing with those guys.

Sorry to hear about the poor service.

Yeah, most of the discs from my local library are scratched, and nowadays I just pick out movies or shows that really catch my eye at risk. Otherwise, nowadays I just rent manga there. :smirk:

Oh, government employees. People who your taxes pay their salary.
My library is decent, but I really hate the DMV. (For those of you too scared to drive, that's Department of Motor Vehicles).
Talk about a bloated government agency, here's one.
